Amanda Wegner. After completing a bachelor’s degree in International Relations (with honors) at the University of North Texas, Amanda moved to Chelyabinsk, Russia in 2014. She completed a master’s degree in Russian as a Foreign Language (with honors) at South Ural State University, then a postgraduate program in Linguistics and Literary Studies. Amanda began working at South Ural State University as a translator in 2015, then later joined the Academic Writing Office as a proofreader. Her research interests include discourse analysis and professional discourse.
